Christmas Post to the Elderly

It has never been this easy to share your good Christmas spirit: Let’s send Christmas post together to the elderly!

The society of creative caring, Siskot ja Simot, is arranging the “Christmas Post to the Elderly” campaign for the eleventh time during the period between 4.11. – 6.12.2024. The aim is to collect Christmas cards for the elderly clients of home care and housing services.

We invite everyone to join the campaign to enable as many elderly as possible to receive a warm Christmas greeting this year.

Make a Christmas card and deliver it to the nearest collection point between 4.11. – 6.12.2024. At some locations you can also mail cards. You can find information about the collection points and mailing addresses from this site in november.

Register to join the campaign by October 28th by sending message joulupostia@siskotjasimot.fi

1. Write a Christmas card (you can either make one yourself or use a ready-made card).
2. Write your Christmas wishes on the card and “To you” on the space reserved for the recipient. Your name and Siskot ja Simot is written as the sender.
   For example: Merry Christmas!/Hyvää Joulua From Siskot ja Simot and me (your name).
3. Bring the card as it is to your nearest collection box. Please do not put the card in a sealed envelope when you are taking your cards directly to the collection box.

At some locations you can also mail cards. Send your card or cards in an envelope and write the address on the envelope.
