120 000 Christmas cards were collected for the elderly in 153 locations!

Finland’s happiest and most heartwarming Christmas card campaign collected a whopping 120 000 Christmas cards for the elderly all over the country. Sisters and Simons and its partners organized the Christmas mail for the elderly campaign from 4 November to 6 December 2024 in 153 locations at the same time.
The campaign collected Christmas cards for elderly clients of home care and housing services. They are delighted and even surprised by the Christmas wishes they received.
Christmas cards were made in civic colleges, libraries, schools, kindergartens, workplaces, hobbies and homes.
How to join the campaign
Anyone
Make a Christmas card and deliver it to the nearest collection point between 4.11. – 6.12.2024. At some locations you can also mail cards. You can find information about the collection points and mailing addresses from this site in november.

This is what you do
- Write a Christmas card (you can either make one yourself or use a ready-made card).
- Write your Christmas wishes on the card and “To you” on the space reserved for the recipient. Your name and Siskot ja Simot is written as the sender.
For example: Merry Christmas!/Hyvää Joulua From Siskot ja Simot and me (your name). - Bring the card as it is to your nearest collection box. Please do not put the card in a sealed envelope when you are taking your cards directly to the collection box.
At some locations you can also mail cards. Send your card or cards in an envelope and write the address on the envelope.
